affordable, super easy to put together using only a few bolts and clear instructions. rolls smoothly.i appreciate the marking of “front” lol i’ve made 3 chairs so far bought from amazon, and one of them i had to disassemble and redo because i wasn’t sure which side was front and back or if it mattered, i completed the chair, sat and it tilted forwards…. they made this assembly fool proof for someone who didn’t go through that to learn the hard way.it comes up to mid back as stated, thought it might come up a bit higher, being 5’4″, and looking at the pic, but it comes to my mid back, as stated. at the price and quality i am satisfied.thought it didn’t tilt, some reviews also says it doesn’t tilt. but u have to pull out the lever to unlock the tilt, and lessen the tension using the big knob under the chair (also marked with which way to turn to tighten and loosen). try to loosen the big knob it if you can’t tilt the chair.

this is a good chair.. though i overlooked that this is midback.. i need more of a high back one.. I’d really like to just keep and swap out the bakcs but dont believe there is an option to. This was to replace a decent office chair in used condition that apparently had a broken weld over time.. it was from by buddy before moving to long beach for this studies and career.The chair was easy to assemble following the instructions with a little to no text.. and of course when sat on and leaning back with the tilt lock off, it was still tight but again this is new.I decided to just return it and go into a retail store and try out a chair before buying. Disassembly can be a pain so I’d suggest looking at you tube videos on how to.. and use a protective blanket/towel, etc to the parts to be “hammered out” along with preferably a wooden or rubber mallot. A metal hammer is fine but i’d wrap the hammer head too with a towel or blanket

A few years ago my husband bought ‘me’ a new chair for Christmas…it was a gaming chair; I don’t game. All I wanted a basic office chair that was comfortable to sit in for a few hours at a time, that offered back support, padded armrests, went up and down and back and forth.THIS is what I wanted and I finally got it when youngest daughter moved out and I turned her bedroom into a home office for me. It’s nothing super fancy, but it is comfortable to set in for a few hours at a time at which point you should be getting up and moving around. I have a fancy office chair at work that my boss paid a lot for and it’s no more comfortable this this for the extra money.I recommend this chair for your home office needs.
