…but I am proving to be *pleasantly surprised!* The moment I picked it up from my front porch, it’s cheap price point was clear and I started wondering if I should have ordered one of the $25 brands, instead. HOWEVER, I’ve been using it all week with my 16″ Framework (not as wide as some other 16″ laptops), and I’ve found it to be perfectly fine in daily use. My laptop fits the top surface perfectly and has had no issues with ventilation. It has been comfortable [so far] on my boney legs [lol] and has felt rather stable under my laptop, in spite of the inexpensive materials used. It’s too soon to comment on longevity, especially of the cushion’s beads, which will surely compress over time, but the overall construction is rather sound. So, yeah, color me surprised! Kudos to the company for meeting the bare minimum specs for a perfectly serviceable product at a bargain price. I legit can’t even knock off a single star on this one. It is precisely as-advertised and worth every penny you’ll save if you’re highly budget conscious…College students, I’m looking at you!

Light weight and comfortable, that’s important for elderly or anyone not wanting to be handling a heavy lap desk. Use it every day. Good value for the money.

This was cute but was definitely smaller than I had expected. I ended up giving it to my daughter because it was too small for my needs. It’s perfect for a child though!

This is a very useful lap desk. First of all, I love the pink. It has a black back with a handy canvas hanger which is great if you’re a student or anyone else who would have the need to hang it. The back also consists of a bean bag configuration which rests lovely on your lap. It’s not heavy nor does it get hot or cold. The front is a hard pink plastic that has a bit of a design in it so that things don’t slide right off versus a smooth surface. But you still have to be careful with things you put on it anyway. There is a slit at the top where you can place your ipad, tablet, iPhone, etc to use while you’re working with a keyboard on the desk part. Or you can use it as a writing desk or even if you’re having a snack on a plate. I think this is a very good thing even for very young kids to use for coloring or plain cards, even cars and dinosaurs on. The elderly like myself can use it to prop up a book or a puzzle book to write easier. As I said this has many uses and by it being so lightweight and comfortable on your lap and knees I can’t imagine you’d not love it as much as I.

Perfect size lapdesk to use with a tablet and keyboard combo. Sits comfortably on my lap, sturdy enough travel with, easily adjustable on the lap, functions as a lapdesk or tray table while traveling.

I was afraid that this would be a flimsy lap desk. It isn’t. It’s perfect. I used to have a very simple folding lapdesk that was very light and was perfect to take everywhere. Fit into my suitcase on travel. Very little extra weight at all. Then they stopped making it. This is the first one that is perfect for me. It is light, has a nice cushioning, perfect for watching tv while I check my email etc. It will be great for travel and anywhere I need it. Thanks so much!!!!
