I am really happy with this clock. I got it to sit on an entry table in a country farmhouse themed home. It fits in perfectly with my decor. It’s surprisingly lightweight and the paint job is pretty – evenly coated with no blobs or marks. My only issue with this clock is that it was difficult to insert the battery. I know that sounds odd but typically you insert them – side first and then snap in the + side. The directions tell you to insert the + side first and then the – side. I tried that but it didn’t work. After struggling with the battery insertion for several minutes, I almost gave up but then figured out that you need to just push the entire battery in at once (not favoring either side), and you’re good to go. After I finally got the battery inserted, I set the time, which was simple. Two days later and the clock is keeping perfect time AND it makes no ticking noise whatsoever.
