Okay so it’s great desk. Unfortunately I didn’t even put it together except for the chair before I realised it was going to be to short for my kid. But just looking at the material and color I would have kept it. The return policy was really easy and not a big deal

This desk was purchased for my 10 year old son. The desk is sturdy, wood does not look cheap. The chair is very small in relation to the desk. Chair is more of the size for a 1st or 2nd grader not for a 5th grade average weight and height male. He should get a few years out of the desk with hopes of it holding until tine for younger sibling to use. Desk has one drawer, easy to open and close and two sleves built into the desk. They hold reading books. Will hold maybe 10-12 books on each shelf. Color is solid without a grainy cheap finish. I would not buy this desk again due to the size and chair.I would purchase for a 6-8 year old, not for a 10 year old.

This is a great desk and the quality is very good for the price. My husband put it together in about 45 minutes and commented on the quality. I was searching for a desk for my 4 th grader and found that most of them are for toddlers or under 5 years old in terms of size. This desk is perfect for an older child such as 7 years or older. I bought this for my 9 1/2 year old and the desk and chair which come together fit her perfectly and will last for a few years. She can do homework or arts and crafts on it and the desk top surface is quite wide. The book shelves allow you to keep clutter off of the desktop. She loves her new desk and so do I!
