This is perfect for my laptop work and crocheting. I find the height great. I use this sitting upIn bed. As stated in many reviews, the top does not click firmly the bases. This does not bother me. It makes it very easy to break down for storage. It takes up very little space to store. I just make sure to move the desk by both bases to get out of working position and get back in when I need to get up and stretch. I recommend this desk.

As a Plus-sized lady, I’m very pleased with this. Whether making notes, writing letters, hand-stitching projects, using tablet or laptop, it is practical and functional. Very sturdy (yet light-weight for ease in re-positioning); comfortable and perfectly-sized with contoured, round edges and smooth surface. Fits together/disassembles easily. Value for the cost! Side pockets hold mobile phones, iPod, pens/markers, ruler, envelopes, books, tablet, etc. Only “con” is: currently in pretty, light aqua fabric; suggest options in surface-washable fabric and colors of navy blue/indigo denim, red, dark purple or dark green to reduce signs of wear and to increase interest by varied age demographics. Grandkids love to sit on carpet with it as a coloring book/drawing desk, too!

Love the design, and build quality. It was very simple to assemble just snap it together. I feel like it’s a good size not too big that someone can’t sit next to you and not too small where I am crammed. Good deal and functions exactly as described. Just wish the arm rests were padded better.
