I sit with my computer on my lap while watching TV and the computer gets so hot and makes me so hot. I also didn’t like having an electronic device just sitting on my lap. I wanted something that was compact and not bulky to sit my computer on and this is perfect. I have a 15″ Chromebook and I didn’t want too much extra border around the edges. The Chromebook has rubber treads on the bottom so it does not slide around on the lap desk. The cushioning on the bottom has lots of tiny soft beads making it comfortable sitting on your lap. There is a handle for carrying it. It is very light weight. I keep it on the side of the couch and pull it out whenever I need to use it. You can also use this just as a lap desk for leaning on for writing or other activities. I am loving it and I use it daily. I am so glad I got it.

I was afraid that this would be a flimsy lap desk. It isn’t. It’s perfect. I used to have a very simple folding lapdesk that was very light and was perfect to take everywhere. Fit into my suitcase on travel. Very little extra weight at all. Then they stopped making it. This is the first one that is perfect for me. It is light, has a nice cushioning, perfect for watching tv while I check my email etc. It will be great for travel and anywhere I need it. Thanks so much!!!!

This is one of my favorite purchases already! Reviewing this with my Mac on said desk – it feels nice. Already did some writing on it, too. It really works.It is small, and so convenient. That little space/slit on top of it for your writing utensils makes it perfect, too.I really recommend it.

I bought these for my kids in grade school. They are exactly what I wanted, but I’m not sure they are for everyone. They are pretty small. I like that they are lightweight. They have a soft padding underneath that seems like it’s filled with bean bags filling. It also has a nice little handle to carry it. I like the slot to put a pencil or pen, but sometimes the kids try to write over it. I have to remind them not to do that. We don’t use them for laptops. We just use them for doing homework or just a hard surface to write on. So, I’m not sure how they do with heat. But these are perfect for our purposes. I even bought one to put in my car, for when I need to write something. I would recommend if you’re looking for something small, lightweight and simple. They are great for kids

Love this lap desk. It’s actually my 2nd one because I broke the last one because I leaned on it in a weird way and it split. But I still loved it enough to buy a replacement.It’s the perfect size to sit on my lap and hold my tablet so I can take notes during meetings.

This is the tiniest lap desk I’ve ever seen! I was initially upset at paying so much for this tiny thing because I was expecting a full-size lap desk but I have actually ended up really liking it. It’s the perfect size for a book you’re reading or underlining in and for a notepad. It’s the perfect size to use in the car and it’s really easy to store next to my reading chair because it’s so small. Just don’t think you’re getting a normal size lap desk for the money.
