I love these mats, this is my second one purchased. I bought this one for my craft desk, the first one has been on my vanity desk for 4 years now and it still looks great! The price point is great for the quality of the mat, the texture is nice and smooth, and it keeps the surface of my vanity looking great, I’m sure it will do the same for my craft desk. There are no weird smells either with this product, I had purchased a mat before that smelled awful, but this one is fine. I think the only thing that had to be worked out is that it needed to have a weight on the sides to keep it from rolling up, but it works just fine after a day or two.

I have a few of these in different sizes for different rooms. Very affordable and durable. Easy to wipe clean. I use one when I watercolor and it does a nice job of protecting the table. It’s thin enough to write with pens and pencils and just a single piece of paper.

Recently redid kiddos room and got a desk. She’s ruined my cabinet in my office by drawing on top of the white, and markers bleeding through. Learned my lesson and purchased this pad to cover her brand new white desk and avoid any mishaps. I love the size, really covers the length of the odd shaped desk. She likes it and it provides a nice cushion when drawing. No weird smell. Rolled it out, weighed it down for a few hours and it works great. Recommend for your little artists to keep your furniture and desktops marker free. Easier than wrapping in paper which is what I’m having to do for my office cabinet.
